About Axvoid Image Studio
Axvoid Image Studio is a free online tool for preparing images for the web. It converts and compresses pictures to WebP, AVIF, JPEG or PNG, removes backgrounds, resizes, crops, adds watermarks, renames files and exports whole batches as a ZIP archive or a PDF.
Why we built it
Heavy images are one of the most common reasons a web page feels slow. Fixing them usually means installing software or uploading files to a service you know nothing about. We wanted a tool that opens in a browser tab, handles a whole folder at once and never asks you to hand over your pictures.
How it works
Everything happens on your own device. Your browser decodes each image, applies your edits on a canvas in a background thread and encodes the result with its built-in image encoder. The background remover uses a small AI model that is downloaded to your browser, cached, and run locally with ONNX Runtime. Your images are not uploaded to us or to anyone else.
Because nothing travels over the network, large batches finish quickly and the tool keeps working on a slow connection once the page has loaded.
Who is behind it
The studio is built and maintained by Axvoid, the team behind the Axvoid forums. Feedback, bug reports and feature requests are welcome on the forums or through the contact page.
How the site is funded
The tool is free to use. To cover hosting and development the site may show advertising served by Google AdSense, placed between the reading sections and away from the tool's controls. The privacy policy explains how advertising cookies work and how to control them.
